Style/Date: Late 1800's Materials: 800 silver, amethysts, pearls Description: Finely detailed Austro-Hungarian 800 silver pendant with one large prong set amethyst and 3 smaller collet set ones. Also there are pearls surrounding the center. The back is a delight to observe intricate floral design. The chain is almost 18" and is sterling.

Style/Date: Etruscan Revival, 1880's Materials: 14K yellow gold Description: 14K gold Etruscan Revival cross pendant with a bloom finish. The bloom was created when dipped in acid and the alloy in the gold would disintegrate and just pure gold would remain. This would give the effect of ancient gold which was the desire of the day.

He has little sapphire eyes and the frame is embellished with American baroque fresh water pearls. All typical of William Ruser's work at his store on Rodeo Drive.

Style/Date: Deco, 1920's Materials: Platinum, diamonds Description: Handmade platinum deco plaque diamond pin/pendant with center marquise, .56ct approx., L SI1, and 1.38ct melee approx., G-H VS range. Diamonds are bead set, marquise is bezel set, miligraining all around. The bail is retractable to become a pin.

Style/Date: Late Victorian Materials: 14K, Plat, amethyst intaglio Description: Late Victorian Hermes intaglio in amethyst in a 14K and platinum pendant mounting. The back of the amethyst is a diamond checkerboard, (couldn't capture a photo of that!) One of Hermes' many patrons was "god of merchants and commerce." "Hermes" was the Greek mythology name and "Mercury" was the Roman name!

Three pieces are marked 800 and the earrings are marked 835. On the front of the necklace is a carved glass dancing nymph and on the reverse is a hand sawed cut spider!!

Style/Date: 1873 Materials: 14K, onyx cameo, natural pearls Description: Finely carved stone (onyx) cameo portrait pin/pendant in 14K and probably natural pearls. The bail is on a hinge and can easily be removed to wear as a pin. Measures 4 1/8"high x 2"wide. On the reverse is engraved "Rachel Lockwood . - Aged 83" "Presented to her daughter Mary L. Pierson. Nov. 13. 1873." Possibly from a banking family in Troy, NY. or Greenwich - Stamford, CT. Pearl necklace not included.
